Last year was full of Dr. appointments, cathethers, ultrasounds, painful antibiotic shots, very expensive medical bills, and one very cooperative/brave little girl (despite all of the above). Yesterday B had her post-surgery follow up ultrasound and we are thrilled to report that there was no evidence of backflow into her kidneys. Great news like this makes it all worth it. At first she was less than pleased to be subject to yet another ultrasound, but a little candy quickly erased her worries and she yelled, "pictures, tummy!" throughout the rest of the appointment.
