Blakley has never been one to co-sleep. She LOVES her crib (which we're hoping remains the case until next year). While we're happy it's a habit we've never had to wean her off of, it would be nice if she would be willing to sleep between us when she's sick and uncomfortable in her crib, or when we're traveling.
B developed croup yesterday and woke up at 4am this morning tired, feverish and wanting to be with us. But the crib didn't make her happy, and neither did our bed. Instead, she opted for the floor right next to the bed, and quickly conked out. Sweet little thing.
Thankfully the carpet's brand new and comfy.
